Steel in the Danish industryAs is known at Staaltrends, we get several of the country's experts to tell us about the Danish steel market: Assessment of the most important key factors for the steel industry in 2024 and their effect on supply, demand and specifically how the price is expected to develop in the coming years. Assessment of the strength of the Danish economy, expectations for interest rate developments, house prices and what else is relevant to the steel companies' ability to sell goods. What does the future of the wholesale sector look like and what is the assessment of the new requirements for both e-commerce and the sellers, from the professional buyer. What will the standards include, which rules do they replace, when will implementation take place and is there a transition period?

Nordic steel in the spotlightThe Regional Meeting Nordics aims to bring together Stockholding Distributors, Service Centers and Steel Traders in the Nordic countries. In this event you will be able to meet the main stakeholders that operate mainly in the Nordic, Baltic countries and the rest of Europe. With all eyes focused on this region that is constantly on the lookout for the decarbonization of the industry, this event is a must-attend occasion for anyone interested in the evolution of steel in Northern Europe.

Practical information
One or two days It's entirely up to you whether you want to participate on one or both days. By participating on both days, an attractive discount price is obtained. Getting there Copenhagen Airport (CPH) is connected to most international airports via direct flights. Copenhagen city is easily accessible with public transport – trains, metro and busses. Tivoli Hotel is located close to Copenhagen Central Station and right next to Dybølsbro S-train station, just one stop from the Central Station. Payment After registration, an invoice will be sent, which must be paid ahead of the event. We can issue an invoice in DKK or EURO, but unfortunately cannot switch between the currencies. So we ask you to select the desired currency when registering. If DKK is desired, the Danish registration page is selected, while the English one is used for EURO. Registration Registration is binding, but you are very welcome to change your name and send a colleague if you aren't able to show up. Registration form If you need to register several participants from your company, you are welcome to complete one registration per person. Otherwise, send us an email with names and emails and we'll figure it out. Parking There is a multi-storey car park directly attached to the hotel. | Hotel Both congress days and the dinner take place at the Tivoli Hotel in Copenhagen, which is why we also recommend that this be used for accommodation. If you wish to use another hotel, the closest ones are shown on the map below. When staying overnight at the Tivoli Hotel, there is a discount code that appears below. Allergies Please notify us during registration about allergies or anything else we should take into account so that you have a good experience. Conference room The venue is the auditorium in the basement, so everyone sits comfortably and has an unobstructed view of the speakers. Wifi Wifi is available in the auditorium. Materials and presentations The materials are normally sent out immediately after the event is over and, unless you hear otherwise from the presenter, you will therefore receive links to the materials afterwards. Emails We collect email adresses from all participants in order to be able to send out practical information and the presentations after the event. The email will also be used to send out information about Ståltrends 2024 and you can always be deleted from the system. |
